Moving to Main Street: Ridgefield Running Company plans March move

Ridgefield’s historic Main Street is adding a friendly face to its retail offerings.
Ridgefield Running Company (RRC) announced Tuesday, Feb. 5, that it will move from its current location at 88 Danbury Road to 423 Main Street.
The Main Street storefront is the current location of RRC’s sister store, Everywear on Main. Under the planned move, both businesses will operate on Main Street.
“I am thrilled to bring Ridgefield Running Company up to Main Street,” said owner Megan Searfoss. “Our customer has an incredibly active lifestyle and the line between exercise and lifestyle is increasingly blurred. The larger space allows us to provide the best blend of RRC and Everywear on Main for our community.”
Popular brands at Everywear on Main will remain in this new blended store, Searfoss said.
Ridgefield Running Company, which was named a Top 50 Running Store in America in 2018, is has partnered with Superfeet to offer a 3D foot scan which will improve the business’ personalized fit process.
The RRC Fit Studio will include the 3D foot scan (with custom insole capability), video analysis on the treadmill and RRC's signature fit process.
“Ridgefield Running Company has been a go-to store for a wide range of customers; new and experienced runners, high school athletes, young children, fitness enthusiasts, and medical referrals. The team at RRC is committed to finding the right shoe to fit an individual’s lifestyle. We really want to keep people moving forward, at any pace,” Searfoss said.
Renovations will begin at 423 Main Street in early March. Both stores will continue to be open in the interim. Ridgefield Running Company plans to relocate and launch this updated concept in late March.
