Ridgefield's Memorial Day parade received a record number of marchers and floats this year. The Press had three photographers wandering Main Street trying to capture the spirit of the day.

In the park after the parade, World War II veteran and grand marshal Wally Goodman delivered the keynote speech.

"The parade is beautiful," he told the crowd. "In order for the parade to beautiful, you have to have a beautiful town."
