Meghan O’Donnell Galvin, daughter of Robert C. and Kelly Galvin of Ridgefield, married Dr. Joseph Michael Stockmeyer, son of Bill and Mary Stockmeyer of Portland, Maine, on Aug. 26 at St. Mary Church in Ridgefield.

The Rev. Joseph White of St. Joseph’s Church in Boston, Mass., officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the Wainwright House in Rye, N.Y.

The bride wore a custom A-line tulle dress with an illusion neckline, floral appliqué details and cathedral veil by designer Mira Zwillinger. She carried a bouquet of white roses, lisianthus, dahlias, freesia, ranunculus, and accent greens.

Attendants in the wedding included former and current Ridgefield residents Alissa Bauer of New York City, Dr. Giana Craig of Ridgefield, Elizabeth Jones of Stamford, and Bryan Galvin of New York City.

The bride graduated from Ridgefield High School in 2007 and from Boston College in 2011. She is currently employed by Academy Sports + Outdoors. The groom graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2011 and Harvard University in 2016. He now works for Chevron Corp.

Following the reception, the couple honeymooned in Rome and Positano. They reside in Houston, Texas.
