Mary Pat Sexton elected Board of Realtors president
The Ridgefield Board of Realtors elected Mary Pat Sexton, a longtime real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty on Main Street, to serve as its president for the 2018 year.
Presidential terms are yearly, Sexton told The Press last week, with the 12 normal board members filling a three year seat.
The Board of Realtors has around 300 members, Sexton added.
A native of Westchester County, Sexton has lived in town for some 30 years. All four of her children have passed through the Ridgefield Public School system.
Outside of her full-time position as a Realtor, Sexton is involved with raising funds for the RVNA and Sunrise Cottage. She’s also a manager for the town Meals on Wheels program.
As for her work for the Board of Realtors, Sexton said she’s looking forward to a project proposed by a number of local merchants to film a professional-grade promotional video of the town, as part of a wider effort to market the town to outsiders.
