Las Cafeteras will arrive from the coast of the Pacific Ocean to perform on the CHIRP stage in Ballard Park at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10.

The Los Angeles-based band fuses folk music, with traditional Son Jarocho, Afro-Mexican music and zapateado dancing. The band uses traditional Son Jarocho instruments like the jarana, requinto, quijada (donkey jawbone) and tarima (a wooden platform), and sing in English, Spanish, and Spanglish.
