
The Ridgefield High School girls and boys lacrosse teams will both play in state championship contests tomorrow — Saturday, June 9.
Tiger fans are trying to get as many people as possible to send both teams off and cheer them on as they go through Main Street.
Here are the details for both rallies:
- 7:15 a.m. Main Street, make signs have some donuts and hot chocolate to see the girls lacrosse team off at 7:30 as they drive down Main Street in quest of its first-ever state championship.
- 12:45 p.m. send off for the boys lacrosse team on Main Street; buses will come by around 1.
Details for the games:
- The girls lacrosse team, who beat Cheshire in overtime Tuesday night, will take on the New Canaan Rams in its state finals game at 10 a.m. Jonathan Law High School 20 Lansdale Ave. Milford, CT 06460
- Boys lacrosse, who came back from down 5-0 to beat Glastonbury Wednesday night, will play undefeated Darien at 3 p.m. at Brien McMahon High School 300 Highland Avenue Norwalk, CT 06854

The Tigers will take on Cheshire in that championship bout, which is set for noon at Palmer Field in Middletown.
