Keeler Tavern to host ‘Fall Party’ fund-raiser
The Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center is having its first annual “Fall Party” fund-raiser Saturday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m.
The event will include a tour of the museum and food by Sarah Bouissou Catering in Julia Gilbert’s Sunken Garden. Guests will also be able to sample bourbon and cocktails by Litchfield Distillery in Timothy Keeler’s Tavern.
Magician Tom Pesce will provide entertainment, and there will be live music by Cold Weather Company. There will also be lawn games, a live auction and raffle items.
The Fall Party, which will benefit the museum’s education initiative that serves 2,300 children across 21 schools in the local area, will honor a Ridgefield history teacher.
