Insects and plant program at library Tuesday

The Ridgefield Garden Club, the Norwalk River Watershed Association and Ridgefield Library will present “A Morning With Doug Tallamy” Tuesday, March 27, at 10 a.m.

Dr. Tallamy is a professor of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware. He works to better understand the many ways insects interact with plants and how to improve the diversity of animal communities.

He will share a guide to restoring the little things that run the world. Insect populations have declined 75% globally since 1974.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is through the Ridgefield Library.
