Around 150 residents came out to the Ridgefield Library on Nov. 7 to hear the story of Judith Kallman, who survived the Holocaust as a child.
In addition to her story Judith spoke of the hope and faith that acted as her anchor through the years of running for her life.
The event was a response to the shooting at a Pittsburgh’s synagogue in late October. A special moment of silence was held in memory of the victims.
The event was organized by the Chabad Jewish Center of Ridgefield.
