Historical society exhibit features books about town
The Ridgefield Historical Society’s latest exhibit, Books About Ridgefield, is on view at the town hall now through March 29. This exhibit explores the variety, quality, depth, and quantity of books written about Ridgefield, a relatively small town for most of its three centuries.
Those interested in supporting the historical society are invited to visit its gift shop at the Scott House on Sunset Lane to purchase books, such as “Connecticut 169 Club: Your Passport to Exploring Connecticut” by historian Martin Podskoch, $22 for members and $25 for nonmembers, and “Five Village Walks” by historian Jack Sanders, $4 members and $5 nonmembers.
Scott House hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call 203-438-5821.
