Ridgefield Guild of Artists has received a gift of $3,500 from the Ridgefield Thrift Shop.

Pam Stoddart, the Guild’s executive director, said her organization has had a long-standing relationship with the Thrift Shop and is happy to be one of the many benefactors of their success and generosity realized by their move to the larger Governor Street location.

“They have a long history of giving back to many worthwhile Ridgefield organizations, and we are grateful to be one of them,” Stoddart said. “The Guild is in desperate need of new easels and tables for our studio.

“Our education program for adults and children grows and grows every year and the wear-and-tear on our equipment is showing its age,” she adde. “We have been making do with what we have for some time, and now, with the Thrift Shop’s help, we can finally buy new gear.”
