A pizza-maker who worked at Genoa Deli in Ridgefield’s Copps Hill Plaza was killed in Tuesday’s storm when a tree fell on his truck in Danbury, where he lived.

Ownership at Genoa did not release the man’s name or want to discuss the events, other than to say he was 29, and had been working at Genoa since he was 17.

They also expressed gratitude to the many people who had expressed condolences, saying “Everyone’s been so supportive.”

A table outside Genoa was set up for people to leave notes of condolence.
