Future Business Leaders of America: High school students awarded at spring conference
The Ridgefield High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter attended the spring leadership conference on March 12 at Naugatuck Community College in Waterbury.
The event offered FBLA members the opportunity to compete in a variety of different competitive events. Ridgefield High School had four student teams that placed in the top 4, earning them the opportunity to compete at the national competition in San Antonio in June.
The student teams that earned awards are as follows:
- Lauren Thompson, Juliette Castagna, and Sarah Isaac (first place in global business)
- Ryan Bogursky, Alyssa Maiolo, and Heston Pinard (second place in sports and entertainment marketing)
- Ian Calle and Mark Habeeb (third place in banking and financial systems)
- Griffin Blood and Addison Siburn (fourth place in introduction to business)
