Frank Goodwin, former Ridgefielder, dies in Canada

The family of the late Frank Goodwin Thursday afternoon announced his passing at The Moncton Hospital in New Brunswick, Canada, on Monday, April 29, following a brief illness.

The son of the late Harry and Hazel (Abbott) Goodwin, he spent most of his life in Ridgefield, where he graduated from high school and joined the Marine Corps and then served his country in the Pacific until the war finished in 1945.

His working life was spent with Perkin-Elmer, a large multi-national scientific equipment company. He served on boards and committees in both his church and in his community.
