80 residents remain powerless Monday afternoon
Dozens of residents remain without power 72 hours after Friday afternoon's winter storm struck Ridgefield.
Emergency Manager Dick Aarons told The Press at 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, that Eversource has four restoration crews working right now and are dealing with 31 incidents.
"An incident can be a cluster of homes or an individual outlier," he said. "They will put emphasis on dangerous situations first, then clusters and finally the individuals.
"Because more crews can come into town if released from other areas, there is no way to predict when 'everyone' will be up and running," he added.
Currently Eversources power outage map shows 80 residents still awaiting restoration.
Some areas where residents are still without power include: Bayberry Hill, Old West Mountain and Virginia Court.
