OXFORD \u2014 Connecticut State Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Oxford Road gas station. Troopers said that they first got word of an armed robbery at the Sunoco at 357 Oxford Road on the morning of Feb. 9. Gas station employees told investigators that a Hispanic man standing about 5 feet 10 inches with a medium build, brandishing a black handgun and wearing a black coat, dark grey hoodie and a mask or scarf over his face, made off with \u201can undetermined amount of cash\u201d before fleeing southward along Oxford Road, police said. There were no injuries reported during the robbery. Anyone with information on the suspect\u2019s identity is asked to call CSP Troop A in Southbury at (203) 267-2200 ext. 4323, or text \u201cTIP711\u201d followed by any information to 236748. Police said all calls would remain confidential.
