What is a Pibble you ask? It is a term of endearment often used when referring to American pit bulls, or a pit bull mix. Pibbles are intelligent dogs and can be trained to do anything from basic obedience to bomb-sniffing to therapy and service dog work.

Sweetie is ROAR’s Pibble poster dog. Why adopt Sweetie? She adores people as her world revolves around belly rubs, kisses and snuggles. She is happiest when you are with her. Sweetie has another major Pibble physical characteristic — the most expressive eyes ever. Just look at her face; how can you not fall in love?

Sweetie is no couch potato. She is curious and enjoys high-energy activities. She is about 2-years-old, of medium stature, has the Pibble muscular build and a short coat in a classic reddish-brown color. She has excellent leash-walking skills and greets everyone as they walk by.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.

ROAR seeks to dispel the misinformation when it comes to Pibbles and other Bully breeds. They are people-oriented, make wonderful companions and, when given proper socialization, are wonderfully affectionate family dogs.

Call the ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter at (203)-438-0158 to make an appointment to meet Sweetie. It is hard to imagine any dog being as enjoyable as this Georgia girl.
