A plan from the town Economic and Community Development Commission (ECDC) would see landlords in the village working together to share contracted services which they currently pay for individually.

“Update is that I have now made contact with all major landlords. I am looking to review their contracts, with the aim of reaching a consensus of what services to bid out by the end of this month,” said Nick Ktorides in an email.

Ktorides, an executive with The Chefs’ Warehouse, has been heading the project for the commission.

Ktorides did not give specifics on what services would be shared by the landlords. Danbury, New Haven, and Stamford all have similar partnerships between businesses owners and landlords, which fund projects intended to improve public spaces and drive business.

“He should be ready in July to give us a report,” said ECDC Chairman Arnold Light, who added that because the commission doesn’t meet in July, it will likely discuss the report in August.
