Sandra Diamond Fox has taken over as Ridgefield Press editor from Alyssa Seidman, who has moved on to another position at Hearst.

Fox has written for newspapers since 2005, when she began freelancing for The News-Times while raising her four small children that she has with her husband, Irving.

From 2015 to 2018, Fox wrote for several publications including the Danbury Patch, Healthy Life Magazine, Connecticut Parent Magazine, Hersam Acorn Newspapers, and The Daily Voice. She has covered news and feature stories throughout all of Fairfield County and has written hundreds of Ridgefield stories through the years.

She has written for The Redding Pilot, The Darien Times, The Milford Mirror, and The Litchfield County Times.

Currently, she writes for The New Milford Spectrum and her stories are shared in The News-Times.

Fox grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., where her parents still reside. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in publishing. She briefly taught journalism as an adjunct professor at Norwalk Community College.

Fox is a long distance runner, running yearround with a Brookfield running group.

She greatly enjoys spending time with her twins, who are now rising college juniors and her older sons, who are establishing themselves in their careers.
