Rockwell Art and Framing goes mobile, leaves Main Street

Rockwell Art and Framing has closed its shop at 470 Main Street and launched a mobile studio.
“We come to Ridgefield,” Rockwell Art and Framing wrote on its Facebook page. “Serving Ridgefield for a decade, we now come to you! Every custom frame and mat in your driveway, at your living room. Custom framing and installation: wherever you are, we come to you ... No more hauling art or frames into our retail store.”
John Devine, chairman of the Economic and Community Development Commission, confirmed that the business did not renew its lease on Main Street.
Rockwell has a gallery in Greenwich and storefronts in New Canaan, Fairfield, Stamford, Westport, and Wilton. The mobile design studio covers Redding, Katonah, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge, N.Y., and other towns.
