Ridgefield Parks & Recreation offers technology camps

Challenge your child’s mind this summer in Ridgefield Parks & Recreation’s innovative technology camps.
If your children are Minecraft enthusiasts, they’ll enjoy our Minecraft Survival Adventure Camp for students ages 5 to 8; Minecraft Mods Camp for students ages 8 to 12; and Java Coding in Minecraft Camp for students ages 8 to 12. Coding 101 and Codemaker with Scratch Camps are available to students ages 6 to 8. Kids, ages 6 to 8, who love LEGOS will enjoy our Build, Code, and Learn Camp. All technology camps are held at the Recreation Center during various weeks.
Boys and girls, ages 11 to 18, are invited to join our Volleyball Camp and Beach Volleyball Clinics led by Ridgefield High School Varsity Coach Lidania Cibere. Students will work on passing, hitting, setting, serving, blocking, and appropriate foot work. There will be scrimmages and skill challenges. Students are grouped by age, gender, and ability.
Camp runs from July 29 to August 2 at Yanity Gym and the clinics run from July 9 to August 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Martin Park Beach.
