The Prospector Theater has reported that a rock was thrown through its lobby window, smashing glass while employees were working Friday, March 29.

"We are safe but sad," the Prospector wrote on its Facebook page.

According to the post, the Ridgefield Police Department was called and responded to the scene.

A call for more information on the incident Friday night went unresponded.

The Prospector Theater asked anyone with information to call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531

"Call ... if you have any information regarding this act of hate," the Facebook post said. "Sparkle on, everyone who stands up against bullying, violence, and destruction."
