National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 22
Every year, millions of eligible voters are unable to cast a ballot because of a missed registration deadline, outdated registration information, or other problems with their voter registration. National Voter Registration Day provides an opportunity to get “vote ready” — whether that means a new registration or updating an existing one.
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield will be at the Ridgefield Library from 2 to 5 p.m. to register citizens who will be 18-years-old (or older) by Election Day, Nov. 3, 2020. Current registrants can also make address or party affiliation changes. General information will be available about absentee balloting, poll locations, voting hours and positions and candidates up for election.
Members of the League will be outside the library’s sliding doors at the main level entrance to the building. Please be sure to wear a mask and social distance when approaching the library.
