Lounsbury House, Ridgefield’s historic community center, is winding down a party-filled summer with an even busier fall — something for everyone!

Bring a chair and enjoy a lazy mid-afternoon lawn concert, free on Sept. 8 with The Brian Butler Quartet during Ridgefield’s Jazz, Funk & Blues weekend.

Inflatable fun more your style? Bring the kids on Sept. 22 for free Family Day with circus activity zone, arts & crafts, live music and more.

Thank a brave veteran on Nov. 11 during our very special Veterans Day Ceremony, quickly followed by our 18th Biennial Tree Festival with Champagne Party kickoff Nov. 14 — three days of sparkle and holiday magic! To end the year, we’re throwing our first-ever New Year’s Eve Glitter Bash to count down the clock with fellow Ridgefielders —2020 here we come!

Lounsbury House welcomes all and is happy to see families rocking together on front porch chairs or snapping holiday card photos —both inside and outside the House (when not hosting private events). Come and stroll our beautiful garden, meticulously maintained by Ridgefield’s Caudatowa Garden Club —or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy under a shady tree. Show your love for Lounsbury by posting a fun pic on social media (#lounsbury_house) while you’re here!

We’re grateful to all that have shared their time, talent and funds for many decades, ensuring that Ridgefield’s 19th-century Main Street treasure will exist for generations to come. Thank you! Questions? Call 203-438-6962.
