Kirkpatrick returns to Ridgefield Physical Therapy

Elizabeth (Molloy) Kirkpatrick, DPT, has re-joined the staff of Ridgefield Physical Therapy. She earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2011, and was a part of the team at Ridgefield Physical Therapy until she married in 2014.

Kirkpatrick then relocated to Fort Drum with her husband, who was active duty in the US Army.

During her time at Ridgefield Physical Therapy, she specialized in general orthopedics as well as dance rehabilitation. Upon moving to Fort Drum, N.Y., she functioned as a clinic director for an orthopedic physical therapy practice, and was the physical therapist for the Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic of Fort Drum, caring for soldiers, veterans, and their family members, with brain injury.

She created multiple evaluation and treatment protocols used by the 10th Mountain Division for Traumatic Brain Injury, and was presented the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service for her work.

Kirkpatrick is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert MDT), a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), and has advanced certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion (AIB-VR/CON).

Her areas of clinical interest include dance related injuries, headache management, dizziness, concussion management, and orthopedic injuries.
