The Ridgefield Historical Society presents Sundays at the Schoolhouse June 30, from 1 to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The series is free to the public and engages visitors of all ages through interactive tours of the Peter Parley Schoolhouse and hands-on learning experiences with docents and historical craft makers from the Colonial era. 
On June 30, Bill Duncan of the 5th Connecticut Regiment will give a living history presentation covering all aspects of the life of a Continental soldier, including uniforms, weapons, and personal accoutrements. There will be three, half-hour presentations at 1:15, 2:15, and 3:15 p.m. 
Sundays at the Schoolhouse program runs the last Sunday of the month, through October.
