The Arts and Nature School, located at 280 Ethan Allen Highway, will host two “Splatterday” sessions from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 27, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28.

During Splatterday, children get to “be the painting” as they throw, fling, stomp and splat paint in the school’s portable “splat room.”

As part of the event, kids will get a set of goggles and a shower cap/paint cap to wear. Parents are asked to dress kids in clothes that can get messy and bring clothes to change into.

Each child gets their own canvas painting to take home after it dries.
