A look at some of the top performances in CIAC girls swimming and diving TOP PERFORMERS Leila Sofiane, Sheehan: A senior captain, Sofiane won the freestyle sprints against Guilford. She placed first in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.91 and the 100-free in 58.43. Sofiane also swam on the winning 400-freestyle relay. Ellen Pan, Foran: A sophomore, Pan captured first place in the 100-freestyle in 57.50 and the 100-backstroke in 1:03.01 against Guilford. Lauren Walsh, Trumbull: A senior, Walsh placed first in the 50-freestyle (25.28) and the 100-butterfly (57.62) in a meet with St. Joseph. Claire Kehley, Lauralton Hall: A senior, Kehley won the 200-freestyle (1:58.43) and the 500-freestyle (5:15.50) in a meet with Daniel Hand. Payton Foster, Greenwich: A sophomore, Foster was first in the 200-individual medley (2:08.52) and 100-freestyle (54.09) in a win against Ridgefield. Kayleigh Morton, Foran: A junior, Morton took first in the 50-freestyle with a time of 27.32. She won the 100-butterfly in 1:06.44. Alexandra Simmons, Danbury: A senior, Simmons was first in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:15.6 in the Trumbull meet. She was part of the Hatters\u2019 winning 400-freestyle relay Keira Giles, Ridgefield: A freshman, Giles captured firsts in the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:57.04 and the 500-freestyle in 5:22.72 vs. Greenwich. Abby Chemacki, Daniel Hand: A senior, Chemacki was first in the 100-breaststroke in 1:14.68 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:20.98 vs. Lauralton Hall. Ariana Milewski, Westhill: A junior, Milewski was first in the 50-freestyle in 27.57 against Trumbull. She placed second in the 100-freestyle in 58:00. Abby Adams, Trumbull: A junior, Adams took firsts in the 200-freestyle (2:09.46) and the 100-butterfly in a win over Danbury. Versus St. Joseph, she was first in the 200 IM (2:23.56) and 100 free (59.22). Ashlyn Blessey, Lauralton Hall: A senior, Blessey took first in the 50-freestyle (25.86) and 100-freestyle (56.60) against Daniel Hand.
