Top 10 Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll (May 23): FCIAC still rules

The FCIAC continued to dominate the Connecticut Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll, with six of the top 10 teams heading into the week of the conference championships.

Darien (17-0) is the state’s last unbeaten team and has held onto the No. 1 spot since the preseason. Four of the state’s top five teams were in Monday’s FCIAC semifinals, with Darien defeating No. 5 Ridgefield and No. 2 New Canaan defeating No. 3 Wilton.

Guilford, ranked No. 4, is the top-seeded team in the SCC tournament and will face Cheshire in the league final on Thursday, with No. 8 Weston and No. 9 New Fairfield as SWC finalists.
