NEW BRITAIN — Running for 73 yards is a nice game for some backs. Killingly sophomore Soren Rief did that on five third-quarter carries Saturday night in the CIAC Class M championship game.
Two of those five carries went for touchdowns, breaking open a 28-14 win over Rockville at Veterans Stadium. Killingly won its fourth CIAC title and its second in four seasons.
