Matt Castrucci Honda is showcasing the safety of the 2019 Honda Passport for SUV drivers in Dayton and surrounding communities. The 2019 Passport is a five-passenger SUV designed with safety as a priority. This model is completely redesigned for the 2019 model year and marks the start of the Honda Passport’s third production generation.
A wide selection of safety features and driver aids come standard in every 2019 Honda Passport. Examples of standard safety features found in this SUV include daytime running lights, an engine immobilizer, stability control, dual front side-mounted airbags, rear door child safety locks and passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation. Driver aids like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance and a forward collision warning system come standard as well.
Many optional driver assistance features are also available for this SUV. EX-L models add blind-spot monitoring, while the Touring trim adds front and rear parking sensors. Other optional features found in the higher trims include an integrated navigation system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and a hands-free liftgate.
The 2019 Honda Passport is available in four trim levels: Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite. All four are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which generates 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The first three trims come standard with front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive available as an option. Elite models come standard with all-wheel drive.
