It’s been a long time since Stamford’s girls basketball team lost a game. The defending FCIAC and Connecticut Class LL champion Black Knights are off to a 5-0 (3-0 in FCIAC) start. Stamford’s last loss came in Greenwich last February; the Black Knights’ last loss at home was nearly two years ago on Jan. 28, 2015. Ridgefield (4-1, 2-1) is coming its first loss of the season. After cruising through most of its game, the Tigers couldn’t topple undefeated Trumbull in their last game before Christmas.
