Plans tweaked for voter registration efforts

The League of Women Voters of Ridgefield announced a change to part of its effort relating to National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, Sept. 22.

On that day, the league will be out in force at the library from 10 to 2 to help voters register or update their information if they have moved.

League President Marilyn P. Carroll also said that the league would be assisting voters who want to register at the Newcomers Club End-of-Summer Picnic at the Community Center on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 5 as well as at an evening event on Sept. 29, at 7:30 at the home of League Membership Chairman Pamela Miles, 6 Titicus Court. That event was originally scheduled to happen a week earlier. Guest speaker will be Jean Rabinow from the League of Women Voters of Connecticut.
