October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Rotary Club of Ridgefield Sunrise asks for folks to join it in support of the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury at the eighth annual 4K SafeWalk, 8:30 to 11 Sunday morning, Oct. 5, at the Danbury Fair Mall.
The Rotary Club of Ridgefield Sunrise is fielding a team as part of its ongoing support of the center. Last year more than 400 people, from children to seniors, participated in this event, which raised more than $40,000.
