Car show to raise money for Jeff Doyle

Memory Lane Cruisers and Lounsbury House are teaming up again this weekend to present “Cruisin’ on the Green,” a car show fund-raiser that this year will go toward supporting Jeff Doyle in his fight against reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSD).

This year’s show will be held Sunday, Aug. 12, with gates opening at 8:30 a.m.

The general public gets in free, cars are $20 each.

The first 100 cars get a goodie bag, and there is no cut-off year for the vehicles.

The event will include a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, food vendors (Planet Pizza, O’Deen’s, and Only the Hungry), and 20 trophies. There will be three special trophy awards, including the Justin Cowen Award, the Harrison Mauldin Award, and the Jeff Doyle Award.

Cowen and Mauldin are past honorees at the muscle car-themed event.

Lounsbury House is located at 316 Main Street. No pets allowed.
