With sophomore Caitlin Slaminko scoring her 100th career goal, the Ridgefield High girls lacrosse team ended the regular season by beating Brookfield, 16-6, in a non-conference game Monday night at Tiger Hollow.
Ridgefield (11-5 overall) will begin the postseason with an FCIAC quarterfinal game on Thursday (opponent, time, site TBD).
Slaminko got her 100th goal with 3:19 left to play in Monday’s game. She finished with six goals and two assists for the Tigers.
Caroline Curnal added three goals and three assists, while Maeve Tobin had two goals and three assists and Mae Briody contributed a goal and three assists.
Hannah Boylan had two goals and an assist for Ridgefield, and Erika Linke and Karley Smith each added one goal. Aly Gagnon provided an assist, and goalie Lexi Held made five saves and had three interceptions.
Bella Carrozza, Tobin and Smith forced Brookfield turnovers, and Boylan and Slaminko each won four draws for the Tigers, who led 9-4 at halftime.
