Ridgefield High School students and staff can’t stop singing — or dancing.
The school’s viral lip sync challenge video, set to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” has attracted almost 15,000 views on YouTube.
In the video, high school teachers are seen talking about the color for next year’s Hall Pass Committee. The lip sync challenge transitions to Principal Stacey Gross — with her legs kicked up on a desk wearing orange sneakers — who says the “high level decision making” requires her to take a walk.
Gross heads to the library where she finds the school’s mascot, a tiger, for a brief discussion about the hall pass color decision.
“Sometimes I think we get caught up the day to day hustle of running the school we forget what about our mission is and why we’re really here — it’s pride,” she says, “Tiger pride!”
From there, she launches into a song and dance.
The video covers every corner of Ridgefield High School — going from the library to the science classrooms to the gymnasium to the cafeteria.
A sensation that began with police departments across the nation last summer, the lip sync challenge has come to officially arrived for teachers and high school students. Here’s a screen shot from the above video.
