To the Editor:

On behalf of the Ridgefield Rotary Club I would like to thank all those who attended the annual Egg Scramble in Ballard Park on April 13.

Despite being overcast the rain managed to stay away and 200+ children turned up for the event which started at 11 and was all over at 11:02.

Six thousand eggs containing candy were collected by the children in their baskets in record time. A very special mention to Dennis and the crew from Ridgefield Parks and Recreation, who co-sponsor the event, for their help in getting the park ready. Also a big thank you to my fellow Rotarians for help with putting out the eggs. Lastly, a shout out to the Easter Bunny who provided many photo opportunities with the children.
