Letter: Haskell sounds already intent on re-election

To the Editor:

Sen. Haskell reminds us that he “may be new to politics,” but in his column he makes no suggestion nor even a mention of potential spending cuts to finance new spending on infrastructure.

So what’s a few hundred more dollars in taxes to Ridgefield taxpayers, as long as Sen. Haskell doesn’t have to make any tough decisions, or alienate one potential voter for his re-election?

Sounds like a pretty experienced politician to me!
