Rowella leads RHS boys hockey team over Stamford

Alex Rowella had two goals and two assists as the Ridgefield High boys hockey team continued its impressive play with a 7-2 victory over Stamford on Wednesday night at the Winter Garden.

It was the seventh straight win for the Tigers, who are now 10-3 overall and 5-0 in the FCIAC.

Vin Rella added one goal and two assists for Ridgefield, and Cam McGuire, Geoff Schneider, Liam Smith and Chris Morrow also scored goals.

Callan McCormick had two assists and McGuire had one assist.

Stamford fell to 4-7 with its third consecutive loss.
