A new cafe, Fork In The Road Market, is being proposed at the former Cucumber and Chamomile tea shop on Danbury Road.
The new business received approval for a freestanding sign from the town Architectural Advisory Committee earlier this week.
It stills need approval from the town health department before it can move next door to Tony’s Corner Deli in the small brick storefront at 3 Danbury Road — the original location of the Ridgefield General Store, which was built in the early 1900s.
Fork In The Road is a new business venture from the owners of KaFo, the cafe and bakery on Main Street.
The business’s Facebook page describes the cafe as “a cozy cottage experience.”
