The Ridgefield Police Department reported the following arrests between Wednesday, Jan. 2 and Monday, Jan. 14:
Larceny at Kohl’s
A Terryville, Conn., woman was arrested for sixth-degree larceny at Kohl’s in Ridgefield around 12:30 Saturday, Jan. 12.
Police said Catalina Eguizabal, 48, was observed by the store’s loss-prevention department attempting to exit without making payment for several items.
According to a report, Eguizabal had several items in her purse. She was issued a summons and released.
She is scheduled to appear in court Monday, Jan. 28.
Three outstanding warrants
A Main Street woman was arrested on three counts of failure to appear in court in the second degree at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Ridgefield police headquarters.
Police said Olivia Romero, 32, was brought into the department by two bail enforcement agents.
According to a report, Romero had three outstanding warrants for her arrest stemming from three separate police departments — Ridgefield, Wilton and New Milford.
She was held on a $105,000 bond and appeared in court Jan. 11.
DUI on Main Street
A Mount Kisco, N.Y,. man was arrested for driving under the influence around 4:30 p.m. on Main Street Jan. 4.
Police said a vehicle driven by Rocco Cambareri, 49, struck three parked cars at two different locations on Main Street before he was pulled over.
An investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
He was released on a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday, Jan. 17.
