What to do with an aging post-holiday Christmas tree? Let the Boy Scout Troop 116 take it away!

Ridgefielders may reserve pick-up of trees by the scouts at ridgefieldtroop116.com.

People will need to leave their trees by their mailbox or driveway by 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, and are asked to tape an envelope with their donation — $17 per tree is suggested — to the mailbox or front door.

Folks who want to arrange pick-up and can’t manage it through the website may email xmasstreepickup@ridgefieldtrooop116.com or phone 203-403-7116.
