Staying independent is topic for seminar

“Do It for Your Family,” a seminar in RVNA’s Wellness Wednesdays series, will take place Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 11 at the RVNA offices at 90 East Ridge, and will help people stay independent during their retirement years by showing how to plan for the future.

The seminar, given by RVNA’s Care Solutions manager, Laura Switzer, will give tips on preserving lifestyle and staying independent and in control. Topics include the importance of legal designations and how to lead a healthy and physical lifestyle.

There will be a raffle for a personal one-on-one session with Ms. Switzer and a bag lunch. All are invited, and RSVPs are preferred (but not required) by calling RVNA at 203-438-5555, ext. 1005.
