Two arrested in spree of thefts from cars

Police arrested a Danbury man and woman Sunday in connection with a spree of thefts from at least 17 cars, that occurred overnight between May 14 and 15.

Terral M. Belin, 18, and Marianny M. Urena, 19, were each face six counts of third degree burglary, one count of third degree larceny, and two counts of conspiracy to commit third degree larceny.

All of the cars were left unlocked, and mostly cash and electronics were reported stolen, police said.

The thefts occurred from cars parked off Limestone Road, Bennett’s Farm Road, Midrocks Road, Mountain Road, Harvey Road, Bobby’s Court, Ridgewood Road, Aspen Ledges Road, Linden, Bates Farm, and Bob Hill Road.

Mr. Belin and Ms. Urena were held on $50,000 bond and were scheduled to appear in court Monday.
