To the Editor:

On behalf of the Ridgefield Youth Commission, I would like to thank the Ridgefield community for the support, generosity and effort to create The Kindness Mural.

At the unveiling ceremony June 10  on Governor Street, our community was given a beautiful piece of community art that will be here for many years to come representing the kindness that lives and grows in Ridgefield. The commission would like to thank all the creation volunteers, donors, A to Z Signs, Caudatowa Garden Club, Dave Kiley Painting, Ezra Zimmerman, Fairfield County Bank, the Ridgefield Chorale, Ridgefield Hardware, Ridgefield Supply, Wells Fargo Bank, Rudy Marconi, Mike Flynn, Chris Cozens, Tim Salem, Jason Cianciotto, the Tyler Clementi Foundation, and Joanne and Bruce Hunter. As the sign reads next to the mural “The Kindness Mural, Led by the Ridgefield Youth Commission, Created by the Ridgefield Community.”
