Members of the Ridgefield High School class of 2018 will be seeing some familiar faces this fall — depending on where they go to college.
The University of Connecticut and the University of Delaware were their two most-applied-to schools, according to the school’s guidance department. UConn and Delaware were also the top two schools that the now-graduated seniors will attend.
Next highest on the list of colleges Tigers are heading this fall is Quinnipiac University in Hamden, which also ranked fifth on the list of colleges students sent their applications this past year.
Northeastern also ranked high on the two lists: It was the third most applied to college and will be the sixth most-attended this fall.
Fordham University in The Bronx was the fourth most applied to school. Following Quinnipiac at fifth on that list was University of Maryland, College Park; Villanova University, Pennsylvania State University, Boston University, and University of Rhode Island.
As for schools with the most Tigers in the fall of 2018, the University of Vermont and Syracuse University ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. Maryland, New York University, WestConn, and the University of Miami rounded out that list.
