A three-car accident at the intersection of Route 7 and Cains Hill Road sent one man to the hospital Tuesday, Feb. 13, and created lines of alternating one-way traffic on the state highway.

Police on the scene reported that a white Dodge SUV partially rolled onto the hood of a gray minivan. A third vehicle, a pickup truck, was turning onto Cains Hill from Route 7 when it struck the front side of the SUV.

A fire truck, an ambulance and two police cars — all from Ridgefield — were at the scene of the accident. A tanker from Georgetown was called off.

Besides injuries to the one man, the other injuries were reported to be minor and required no transport to Danbury Hospital.
