Catherine Tango marries James Dykes at Le Chateau

Catherine Tango-Dykes and James Dykes

Catherine Tango, daughter of Joseph Barnell, formerly of Ridgefield, and the late Eileen Barnell, was married to James B. Dykes Jr., son of James B. Dykes, formerly of Ridgefield, and the late Carol Dykes, on June 16.

Scott Neuchterlein, justice of the peace, performed the evening ceremony in the garden at Le Chateau in South Salem, N.Y. A reception followed in the main dining room.

Given in marriage by her son, Connor Tango, the bride wore a Jim Hjelm ivory Alençon lace-over-champagne charmeuse a-line gown with halter neckline, crystal floral embroidery at the waist and a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of white peonies with one pink peony in the center in memory of her daughter, Molly.

Caitlin Tango, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lily Tango, daughter of the bride, and Ally Dykes, daughter of the groom. They wore dresses of their choice in champagne and carried pink peonies and green hydrangeas.

Best man was Eric Sesto of Ridgefield, friend of the couple. Ushers were Connor Tango, son of the bride, and James R. Dykes, son of the groom.

The bride graduated from Ridgefield High School and is the owner and director of the Ridgefield Montessori School and president of the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation. The groom is a banking consultant for Wells Fargo Advisors LLC and is a board member of the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation.

The new family enjoyed a vacation in the Outer Banks in North Carolina at the end of June. They live in Ridgefield.
