National figures engaged in Lyme disease diagnosis, treatment and advocacy will be featured speakers at a seminar Tuesday, May 14, at Western Connecticut State University.
The Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force will present the seminar, “Visionaries in Lyme Disease Testing, Treatment, Research, and Advocacy,” at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Westside Campus Center, 43 Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury.
The fair will be from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited.
The seminar will focus on recent medical, research and public policy developments in the field, as well as current issues and controversy in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Lyme disease.
